Frequently Asked Questions + Answers
Where do our pets sleep?
We are a home from home business so your pets sleep in our home with us wherever they feel most comfortable. For some that might mean a comfy memory foam bed or a cuddly sofa – we let your pet decide.
Are you insured?
Yes we have full insurance
Are you able to give medicine etc?
Yes, we can cater for special diets or medical needs including giving medicine/treatments. There maybe be a surcharge if much more time is needed that our usual service.
Will you let us know how our pet is getting on?
Yes we will send a Daily update with photo to let you know how your pets day has went.
How often will my dog have exercise?
We walk our dogs up to 4 times a day according to their own ability around our rural 28 ache farm on long leads for your pups own safety. We also have secure social yards for your pets to play with their new friends.
Do you take intact/unneutered/unsprayed dogs?
It really depends on what other dogs are staying with us at the time. We do take a lot of unsprayed females but have less availability for intact males.
What do I need to bring with my dog?
Please only bring your pets food/snacks and the remaining balance on drop off. We have everything else needed for your pets stay.
Do you need to meet our dog before?
No we don’t do prior meet and greets. The reason for this is because in the years we have been doing this we have never had a dog not settle for us on the first night. We are always booked up so this would not add value to our service.
Can I come look around before my pet stays?
We run our service from our own family home. For this reason, we do not do prior viewings. This is simply to give our family privacy. We have hundreds of photos of our home and lots of 5 star reviews on google from clients and we feel this is more than enough to give you a well-rounded impression of the service we provide.
Do you have a min age you will take?
No, as long as they are safe to be away from mother and have essential vaccinations we can take.
Are there any breeds you won’t take?
No, we love all breeds. If your breed is banned in UK/NI we will take only if our insurance covers it.
